Last night our boys Basketball team played St Thomas More Primary School. And our girls played Lumen Christi. Both teams put up a great contest. Continue to train at home and at school and you will soon see some great improvements this term.

Last night our girls Basketball team played their first game against St Thomas More. By all reports the girls ran like the wind.

Unfortunately Lumen Christi was a late cancelation so our Boys team will play their first game next week against Grammar.

Reminder training every Thursday lunch time and a reminder to bring your Basketball singlets back to school each Friday.

Cross Country

On Wednesday 1st of May our students competed in the Ballarat School Cross Country Championship.

Grades 3 & 4 ran a total of 2km and grades 5 & 6 ran a total of 3km. All students completed the distances and represented our school superbly. Congratulations to Cody Lowe for progressing through to the Divisional Cross Country Championships held on Friday 17th of May at Victoria Park.

This is a wonderful achievement, Yuille Park Community wishes Cody all the best in his up and coming event.


Active After School Community

AASC Term 2

A letter has been given to your child regarding their place in the AASC for term 2. 

The AASC Basketball program for term 2 will commence on Monday 29th of April and Wednesday the 1st of May and run for 7 consecutive weeks, with the last session on the 12th of June.

Monday POD 2 / 3

Wednesday POD 1

All activities will run from 3.30pm until 4.30pm and is free. Your child will be provided with a healthy snack.

All sessions will be conducted at school.

Term 2 Thursday Basketball Competition

Yuille Park Basketball Competition is back!!

What? Yuille Park plays a game of Basketball against other schools.

Where? At the Ballarat Miner Done

When? Starts this Thursday 2ndof May.

Cost $ 3 per game.


If you would like your child to join this exciting competition we are having a parent meeting Monday morning at 9am in the community lounge.
